Osamu Sakamoto Grand Concert Guitar Model 70

Early 1970s Osamu Sakamoto Japanese luthier made guitar, with hardcase.

Cedar top with Rosewood sides and back, 650mm scale length with 52mm nut.

Torres style 7 fan bracing. String action height currently 1st-string 3.0mm and 6st-string 2.6mm.

Guitar appearance is in excellent condition, with no cracks and very few minor blemishes.

Sakamoto not known very much outside Japan, constructed very small number of guitars. Constructed guitars under 4 labels, first label under his own name mostly made with cedar tops. Second label under Angel label with spruce tops. Third label under Artemis label with mainly cedar tops. Fourth label made for importation to USA under Jose Oribe label.
