Cedar top with Rosewood sides and back, 650mm scale length with 50mm nut.

7 style fan bracing, with treble bar.

String action height currently 1st-string 3.0mm and 6st-string 3.2mm.

This particular guitar’s appearance is in superb condition, with no cracks and few cosmetic marks. This model features a solid cedar top with rosewood back&sides.

Kazuo Hashimoto was one of the pioneers of classical guitar making in Japan. He was making relatively limited number of high-quality guitars during 1950s through the 1980s under “Maruha” brand. His guitars are highly valued by not only Japanese players.

For many Japanese guitar players a purchase of a guitar was “an investment” and a serious decision. These guitars were treated very well in time. It is possible to find a Japanese Guitar more than 40+ years old that is in excellent condition.
